چکیده
Fungal pathologies caused by the genus Candida have increased in recent years due to involvement of immunosuppressed people and advance resistance mechanisms acquired these microorganisms. Liposomes are nanovesicles with lipid bilayers which they store compounds. ?-Bisabolol is a sesquiterpene proven biological activities, this work it was tested alone liposomes association Fluconazole vitro evaluate antifungal potential, optimization, virulence inhibitory effect vitro. Antifungal assays were performed against standard strains albicans, tropicalis, krusei microdilution identify IC50 values obtain cell viability. The Minimum Fungicidal Concentration (MFC) subculturing on solid medium, at their subinhibitory concentration (Matrix (MC): 16,384 µg/mL) (MC/16), compounds, both isolated liposomal, associated fluconazole order verify junction. Tests ascertain changes morphology microculture chambers according MC concentrations. characterized from vesicle size, polydispersity index, average Zeta scanning electron microscopy. value liposomal bisabolol (FCZ) 2.5 µg/mL all tested, revealing potentiating effect. Liposomal able potentiate CA CT reducing its completely inhibiting fungal growth. form inhibited morphological transition MC/8. homogeneous, vesicles diameters 203.8 nm for surface charge potential ?34.2 mV, conferring stability nanosystem. Through microscopy, spherical shapes observed.

Synergistic Antifungal Effect of Glabridin and Fluconazole
The incidence of invasive fungal infections is increasing in recent years. The present study mainly investigated glabridin (Gla) alone and especially in combination with fluconazole (FLC) against Cryptococcus neoformans and Candida species (Candida albicans, Candida tropicalis, Candida krusei, Candida parapsilosis and Candida Glabratas) by different methods. The minimal inhibitory concentration...

Abstract Background and objective: In recent years, the resistance of opportunistic fungal strains to commercially available antifungal agents has been increased. The serious side effects of these compounds on mammalian cells forced the researchers to search for new antifungal substances. Thus we decided to investigate the antifungal properties of silver nanoparticles against Aspergillusfumiga...
متن کاملAntifungal activity of essential oils from Iranian plants against fluconazole-resistant and fluconazole-susceptible Candida albicans
Objectives: The purpose of this study was to assay the antifungal activity of selected essential oils obtained from plants against both fluconazole (FLU)-resistant and FLU-susceptible C. albicans strains isolated from HIV positive patients with oropharyngeal candidiasis (OPC). Materials and Methods: The essential oils were obtained by hydrodistillation method from Myrtus communis (My. communis)...
متن کاملSynergistic Antifungal Effect of Fluconazole Combined with Licofelone against Resistant Candida albicans
Candida albicans (C. albicans) is one of the important opportunistic fungal pathogens that is closely associated with disseminated or chronic infections. The objective of this study is to evaluate the synergistic antifungal effect of licofelone, which is dual microsomal prostaglandin E2 synthase/lipoxygenase (mPGES-1/LOX) inhibitor in combination with fluconazole against C. albicans. Here our r...
